The Gamma Lambda Chapter of Delta Zeta Sorority at San José State University was founded in 1948. As one of the oldest sororities at San José State, and the oldest active chapter in California, Delta Zeta recently celebrated its 70th anniversary on campus.

 

Although the San Jose State University is home to tens of thousands, Delta Zeta’s core value of belonging makes our chapter feel like family. Friendships made in DZ are for more than four years - they are for life. Our philanthropy provides life changing opportunities to those struggling with speech and hearing. We work with national, local, and campus wide services to improve accessible care and spread awareness. Our programming empowers members through all aspects of their collegiate and alumni careers. Our chapter fosters strong academics, professional development, campus involvement, and positive community impact.
